About Boland Digital

Boland Digital emerged from an epiphany.

Agencies are way too expensive.

The bigger the agency, the more overhead they have — and with that comes inefficiencies, communication hurdles, way too many pointless meetings and layers of people to pay. All of it adds up fast. These inflated costs end up pricing out most businesses and organizations entirely.

There are countless small business owners and entrepreneurs who would benefit immensely from the increased sales and attention that come with a thoughtfully designed website and brand. Thousands of nonprofits that could generate more donations with a strong content strategy and cohesive user experience. Yet, the message from many agencies is basically, “too bad, you can’t afford us.”

What’s worse is a lot of these high-priced websites aren’t even good. Far too often, you can drop a URL into Google Pagespeed and get back poor scores and accessibility issues from sites that clients paid good money for. That kind of high-cost mediocrity reflects poorly on the entire profession.

Many agencies are okay with that.

Boland Digital never will be.
